Spread the love

This original recipe shaped up in my kitchen the other day after playing around with my original Reese’s Cup Protein Bar recipe. This has been one of my most popular and most made recipes ever!

But I wanted to see if I could turn it into more of a cookie. One of my favorite cookies as a little girl with the Hershey’s Peanut Butter Blossoms recipe.  That recipe is neither healthy nor helping me keep my shape, so I decided to create a tasty version that would offer some health benefits!

My “Butter Blossoms” aren’t loaded with butter and bad fat.  Choose the nut or seed butter of your choice and load them up with healthy proteins and omegas, and oats – all good for heart health.  With the Trim Vanilla protein I used, you can eat these and know you are even telling your body to build lean muscle! What dessert can you eat that helps you build muscle??

Try a few more of my tasty, lean muscle building dessert recipes like my Dark Chocolate Protein Truffles.

One of my passions is helping people find ways to still love what they eat and not have to deprive themselves, while still maintaining their health. It’s no fun to live your life feeling like you are deprived or on a strict “no you can’t have that!” diet.  Yes, there are things we should avoid at all cost, but eating healthy can still be yummy and I love creating things that you don’t have to feel guilty about eating at all (unless you eat the whole plate, of course).

We had a party the other night and among all the other food, the Butter Blossoms did not last long!   Next time you go to dinner at a friends house or get signed up to take dessert to your child’s class, offer to bring these.  Adults and kids alike will gobble them up and thank you!
